Avelhouse is operated by Novaxia LLC. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit avelhouse.com, place an order, subscribe to our emails or contact us. For privacy questions, contact contact@avelhouse.com or +1 520 727 8154, or write to the company address below.
Information used to run the store
Depending on how you interact with us, we process:
Contact and delivery details: your name, email, telephone number, billing address and shipping address, to process orders and communicate with you.
Order and payment records: products ordered, transaction references, payment status, refunds and related correspondence. Payment providers process the payment information you enter at checkout.
Account and support information: account details, preferences and the information you choose to send when requesting assistance.
Technical and browsing information: IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers and interactions with the store, used to operate the website, maintain security and prevent fraud.
Email preferences: subscription and unsubscribe information, used to manage promotional communications.
We receive information directly from you, through the operation of the website, and from service providers involved in payment, order fulfillment, delivery and support. Please do not send full payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.
How information is used and disclosed
We use personal information to provide the store, fulfill purchases, handle returns and customer requests, prevent fraud, keep business records and meet legal obligations. If you subscribe to marketing emails, we use your contact details to send them. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email; order and service messages can still be sent.
Information needed for these purposes is disclosed to Shopify and the providers supporting our checkout, payments, fulfillment, delivery and customer service. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or public authorities when necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes or protect legal rights.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The store uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as remembering your cart, maintaining sessions and securing checkout. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any cookie preference controls provided on the store. Disabling essential cookies can affect these functions. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not, by itself, disable analytics cookies. You may also contact us to exercise any applicable privacy opt-out rights.
Email marketing with Klaviyo
We manage email communications through Shopify and, when enabled, Klaviyo. When Klaviyo is used, it processes contact details and subscription preferences for us. Depending on the features enabled, order information, website interactions and email engagement may also be processed to tailor messages and measure their performance. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email. This does not stop necessary messages about an order.

Website measurement with Google Analytics
When enabled on the store, Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website and improve its performance. It can use first-party cookies and process device, browser and website interaction information to produce usage statistics. Google’s data protection information explains its processing. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on on supported browsers.
Shopify and international processing
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information to provide its platform and services. Depending on the service you use, Shopify may also process information for its own purposes, as explained in its Consumer Privacy Policy. Shopify’s Privacy Portal provides information about requests concerning data it controls.
Avelhouse is operated by Novaxia LLC, a company registered in New Mexico, United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries. The protections available can differ by country, and applicable transfer requirements must be observed.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including processing orders, providing support, maintaining required accounting records and resolving disputes. Different categories of information can have different retention periods. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, or to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising.
